Meghajan Budha, originally from Humla, Nepal, holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Science (2026) from Tribhuvan University, where his thesis focused on the distribution, activity patterns, and conservation threats to snow leopards in the Lapchi Valley, Nepal. He brings extensive field and research experience to his work, having served as main author on “Modeling Current and Future Habitat Suitability for the Snow Leopard (Panthera uncia) Under Climate Change Scenarios in Nepal” and as co-author on “Niche Partitioning Facilitates Coexistence of Three Apex Predators in the Lapchi Valley, Central Himalaya, Nepal”. His technical skill set includes GIS, species distribution modeling, and RStudio, which he applies directly to his conservation work. As a Conservation Officer at BIOCOS-NEPAL, he is currently engaged in human–tiger conflict project. Mr. Budha is passionate about integrating scientific research, spatial analysis, and community engagement for sustainable wildlife conservation in Nepal.
